Overview

Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to the enchanting winter wonderland of Lapland, where unforgettable moments and heart warming traditions await.

For travel from 20th - 28th December, price will be confirmed on request. Please proceed with enquiry at £1 per person and one of team will be in touch shortly with the finalised quote.

Your trip will start with a transfer from Rovaniemi airport to your accommodation. You will have the chance to relax before starting the adventure the next day.

Dive into the thrill of exploration with a curated selection of tours designed to capture the spirit of Lapland. Experience the excitement of snowmobiling as a family, followed by the serene tradition of ice fishing on a frozen lake.

The Adventure doesn’t stop there… a reindeer awaits you, ready to guide you to Santa Claus’ hidden hut. Hop into a snug sled and start a journey through the Magic Forest. Helpful Elves accompany you on the quest to discover Santa’s Hut, a place brimming with magic. With their assistance, you’ll uncover a Secret Pathway in the snow leading to an extraordinary destination. Warm drinks and cookies will be served.

Spend a day immersed in snowy fun with activities like husky safaris, reindeer encounters, snowshoeing, tobogganing, and more. Mini snowmobiling for kids ensures that even the youngest adventurers are swept up in the joy.

Welcome to your resort!

Located on the last frontier, where Rovaniemi city ends and the outback begins, the resort welcomes you for an adventure to remember! Amidst the embrace of two remote lakes at the edge of unspoilt wilderness, this resort offers unique accommodation options.

Meet your driver at the airport and after 10-15 minutes drive, we will arrive to the stunning Resort. Check in to your accommodation and spend some time to enjoying the beautiful snowy views before dinner.

Dinner buffets will be served in restaurant where you will enjoy Nordic cuisine with modern twist and delicious locally produced ingredients. Breakfast and dinner are served  buffet style in this elegant setting, with views out over the snowy landscape and a roaring fire to keep you cosy.

After a delicious dinner, retreat back to your cosy accommodation for a good nights sleep under the stars!

Reindeer Ride to Santa through the Magic Forest and Aurora Hunt by Snow Train

Today, you will go on a magical reindeer ride through a snowy forest shimmering with an enchanting glow. Ancient pines glisten under the soft daylight as you glide along winding trails, pulled by gentle reindeer whose bells jingle softly in the crisp winter air. Frosty branches arch overhead like a natural cathedral, creating a tranquil and otherworldly atmosphere.

This serene journey leads you to a festive wonderland filled with enchanting activities. Join a Christmassy workshop to unleash your creativity, bake and decorate delicious gingerbread treats, and enjoy a private family meeting with Santa himself. Snowmobiling & Ice Fishing like a Finn

Glide across pristine snow-covered landscapes, weaving through forests and open trails while enjoying the exhilaration of speed and the beauty of the surrounding scenery. With guides ensuring safety and comfort, this adventure is perfect for all ages to enjoy the magic of Lapland together.

Ice Fishing Like a Finn (2.5 hours)
Dive into the authentic Finnish tradition of ice fishing. Journey to a frozen lake, where you’ll drill your own fishing hole through the thick ice. Learn the secrets of ice fishing from local experts, enjoy the peaceful beauty of the frozen landscape, and, with a bit of luck, catch your own fish. This serene and unique experience provides a perfect balance of fun and relaxation.

Both tours offer unforgettable moments and the chance to immerse yourself in the magic of the Arctic wilderness.

Please note:

Children (4 years old and up) will join the excursion on a heated sled positioned behind the guide’s snowmobile. We highly recommend that one of the parents sits with their small child in the sled for the child’s comfort and safety.

Snow & Fun Experience

Today is a perfect blend of adventure, discovery, and family-friendly activities in a magical winter setting. Start with an unforgettable 500-meter husky safari, where these spirited dogs guide your sled through snowy trails. Afterward, enjoy some quality time with the huskies as you pet and bond with them. Continue the journey by meeting gentle reindeer and listening to fascinating reindeer stories, learning about their significance in Arctic culture and traditions.

The day is packed with snow-filled fun, offering activities for all ages. Explore the pristine landscape with snowshoeing or cross-country skiing, slide down icy slopes on a toboggan, spin around on a whimsical snow carousel, and participate in an energetic snowball hunt. For the younger adventurers, there’s the thrill of mini snowmobiling, providing a safe and exciting experience tailored just for kids.

At 1:00 PM, gather to enjoy a delicious lunch, a perfect way to recharge and warm up after the morning’s activities. This snow-filled experience promises endless fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories in the heart of the Arctic wilderness.

Departure

It is time to say goodbye to Lapland. Take the last deep breaths of fresh air and save the magical moments with us in your memory. After check out, you will be transferred back to the airport.

Aurora Cabin Family glass igloos we designed with families and groups of friends in mind. They comfortably sleep 2+4 guests, providing the ideal home base for your Arctic adventures. Lie on your bed and enjoy unobstructed views of the night sky with its endless stars and many wonders. The cabins are situated right at the shore of Lake Olkkajärvi, allowing you to also relish stunning lake views

In addition to a plush king-size bed, you’ll find a 160 cm wide double bed in a separate alcove, along with a convertible sofa that transforms into a 140 cm wide bed. For added convenience, the igloo features a private bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as climate-controlled air conditioning.

As you might expect in Finnish Lapland, the story of our Resort started from ice, and the first people living in the area were Sámi. They lived  in small communities as nomads, following the fish and game along the coast and  inland.

Location

Located 10 minutes from Rovaniemi Airport, the resort is unique and the accommodation bring you closer to the picturesque beauty and enchanting magic that Lapland has to offer.

The sky is bigger and clearer here than anywhere else in or around Rovaniemi and you will feel truly immersed in the mystical wonders of the surrounding Lappish landscape. Cozy and tastefully decorated, each and every one of our accommodations offers our guests a true, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

What are the buffet timings?

Breakfast is served daily at 8:00-10:30
Buffet lunch daily at 12:00-15:00

What are check-in / check-out timings?

Check-In will be starting from 16.00 until 22.30pm on the day of your arrival.
Check-Out will be starting from 7.30 until 12.00am on the day of departure.
In case of room change same times apply.

Late Arrival: In case you are arriving later than 22.00, please inform us well in advance. Otherwise we cannot ensure that check-in will be available.

What is the age for a child?

The age for children packages are 4-15.

If your child is age 0-3 please note that they can travel free of charge, however this is based upon your child sharing a bed with an Adult.

If you would like a cot for your child, there is a small fee. Please request this on booking.

If you would like a bed for your child aged 0-3, you must add them to your booking as a child.

Are all the activities suitable for children?

Husky Rides:
It is not recommended that children under 4 are taken on husky rides

Snowmobile:
Children have to be at least 4 years old.
Please consider whether this activity is suitable for your young child, taking into account the outdoor stay and cold conditions.
If a child is over 140 cm and wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged. If this is the case, you need to book the child as an adult. 


What requirements are needed to drive the Snowmobile?

The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and in possession of a full UK driving license.
