    Best Time to Visit Cambodia

    General

    Peak Season, Nov-Feb. Temperatures ranging from 20°C to 30°C, and mostly dry. This is when most people visit, costs will be at their peak and so will crowds.

    Shoulder Season, March-May & Oct. Transitional season so there may be some showers, prices will lower and there will be fewer tourists. Temperatures can get as high as 40°C

    Low Season, June-Sept. In the green season you can expect brief heavy rain. The countryside will become more vibrant, prices will be at their lowest and tourists will be fewer.

    Top tips for activity holidays in Cambodia

    Visit at the right time – Consider going in the shoulder or low seasons. Rain never lasts long and the countryside will be much more vibrant!

    Respect the culture – Always ask before taking pictures of people, especially monks. Check any rules around religious sites before you visit.

    Be ready for heat – Cambodia has a very warm climate, so be sure to take your reusable water bottle and wear your suncream outside.

    Be ready to haggle – In the local markets you can get prices down, though always be respectful, generally start at half the asking price.
