What you'll do

Overview

An unmissable, all-inclusive crochet weekend retreat that will immerse you in a world you'll love and won't forget!

2025
3rd October - 5th October

“A relaxing crochet retreat is my kind of heaven!”

Our all-inclusive crochet retreats will immerse you in a world that you’ll love!  From the moment that you walk through the doors, you can relax and enjoy laughter, crochet, fabulous food, beautiful scenery, and the company of wonderful like-minded people.  Not to mention more crochet!

Come alone or with friends

Our retreats are kept to small groups.  This way you can share together as a group, and benefit from one-to-one help and advice if needed.  Whether traveling alone or with friends, you will feel included and part of the event, without the worry of being in an intimidating large group or ‘clique’.

Take inspiration from others who are just as passionate about crochet and yarns as you are.  Our crochet tutor will be on hand to assist if you’re still learning the yarns, and can offer one-to-one guidance if you are new to certain aspects of crochet, or would like to benefit from some expert tuition on areas that you would like to improve.

Arrival and First Workshop

Your crochet retreat begins on Friday, with arrival between 2pm – 4pm.  Don’t worry if that’s a little early for you, just let us know.  You’ll receive your gift bag, filled with wonderful items all set for your crochet weekend workshop.

After everyone has had a chance to settle in and get acquainted, we will adjourn to our private crafting room.  Here you can unload all of your crocheting supplies, ready for a weekend of crochet heaven!  Feel free to bring along any of your beloved creations and home comforts, such as slippers, a cushion or a blanket that you have made, to make the space your own.

Dinner is served in our venue’s fabulous restaurant. You’ll enjoy a mouth-watering 3-course meal amidst the excitement of what’s to come over the coming days.

Friday’s events are relaxed and easy-going.  You can dip in and out of the activities available and take some time for yourself, to really unwind and shake off the week.

Full day of crochet

Saturday morning begins with an amazing selection of breakfast items that will get you ready for the first session of the day. Lunch is served either in our private crafting room or in the venue’s restaurant.  You’ll have time to break out and stretch those hands and legs ready for the afternoon.  You can help yourself to unlimited teas, and coffees, throughout your stay.  Your host will be on hand during crochet sessions to assist if you’re still learning the yarns, or to help with any other crochet topics.

There will be plenty of projects on offer, but you are more than welcome to bring your own projects to work on during your stay too.  Your retreat will be a relaxed affair, and you can choose which projects you wish to engage in at any time.

Continuing with a full day of crochet and creation until around 6pm, after which you can enjoy some free time before your evening meal is served.

Saturday evening is reserved for getting to know your new friends, relaxing, catching up with any projects that you may have brought along, or diving in to that yarn stash with a renewed inspiration to try new things!

After dinner, you can round off the day laughing and chatting with new and old friends in the luxury of your setting, or take some time out and retire to the comfort of your own spacious room.  Our Crewe Hall retreats offer full use of the leisure facilities.  You are free to use the swimming pool, gym, and jacuzzi, and can also pre-book spa treatments with the hotel directly should you really want to unwind.

Final workshop and departure

Breakfast on Sunday morning will be served between 7 am and 9 am once more and, after room check out, our final day of crochet will continue until 3pm.  A farewell lunch will be served, after which you can soak up the remaining hours of your crochet retreat, doing what you love.
