What you'll do

Secret Garden is is east facing with an uninterrupted view across the river basin and is nestled in its own garden space. Enjoy a fire pit with all your fuel is included in the holiday and provided for you. Relax on the outside decking, where you can sit and watch the world go by, whilst enjoying the best that the British weather can offer. The Secret Garden also features a wood fired hot tub adjacent to the glamping pod.

The first bedroom features a comfortable double bed, lovely for cuddling up in and listening to the sound of the wildlife lulling you to sleep. Bedroom two is ideal for children, who will be beside themselves with excitement with the prospect of sleeping in their own secret hideaway, (although adventurous grown ups can use it too). It has an L-shaped bunk bed which is both comfortable and inviting, whilst the room is stylish and bright.

The main living area is a generous size, with a lovely leather corner sofa, where you can sit and enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple as you watch the day go to bed.  A smart television is positioned perfectly, in case the British weather lets you down or if you just fancy putting your feet up and relaxing in front of a movie.

There is a Glamping kitchenette which has a microwave, a double electric hob and a small fridge. Enough for you to rustle up simple meals, and picnics to eat al fresco looking across the river basin as the sunsets behind you. Whilst taking time out, you can put your feet up and use the service provided by Beccles Station cafe, to order an arrival hamper, a picnic for a day out, or even have your breakfast delivered to your deck everyday you are on holiday.

The bathroom has a refreshing shower where you can wash off the days adventures in comfort, and the whole pod is heated using electric wall heaters.

Please note in case of mobility issues there are three steps leading up to the decking area and into the pod itself –  there are no handrails. Once inside the glamping pod it is step free.

Secret Garden comes with your own private rowing boat, which you will be shown how to use, so you can explore the river basin and local river. If you want a longer river adventure why not try a SUP lesson, or a guided canoe tour? If you are  feeling really adventurous then book your self drive boat for a day and explore the river all the way up to Oulton Broad.

There is a Scandinavian wood fired hot tub , surrounded with woven panelling to ensure privacy, and it has a wonderful view of the local marsh land. If you are lucky you may see our barn owl fly over as you relax and unwind at the end of the day.

The tub takes about 45 minutes to fill and then two hours to heat to a wonderful temperature, keeping the water warm for about an hour.

The use of the hot tub is an extra and costs £15 for the experience. Included in the hot tub experience is wood, kindling, matches and a set of towels (up to 4), as we respectfully ask you not to use the white towels from the accommodation on the hot tub.
