Relaxing UK staycations – Recharge in December-January
I know I bad-mouthed staycations a little just then, but there is a lot of good to be said about a relaxing, unique staycation in the UK. The UK has some really amazing getaways that’ll have you questioning why you ever bothered with airport security lines. Maybe you want to be a sailor for the day? Relax in one of our serene hot tub accommodations. A great opportunity to take in a bit of nature before the year starts.
Maybe you’re more the no Wi-Fi sort of getaway guy, well the Lake District’s glamping retreat at Tarn Hut is definitely your jam. It’s all the instagram-worthy views without the deflating aur mattress drama. And if you thought horse whispering was just for cowboy movies, think again! Meditate with horses in Ambleside – it’s like yoga, but with more neighing and less downward dog. Who needs abroad when the UK’s serving up adventures this quirky?
If you book from 30th-31st December 2024 to capitalise on the 1st January bank holiday, you can have up to 5 days to unwind from the Christmas break before your life starts up again.
