Okay, maybe you’re looking to step a little further afield, and if so it’s got to be Morocco. Just a short hop from Europe, this North African gem offers adventure that’ll make all your colleagues’ staycation stories seem as bland as unseasoned couscous. For the culture vultures, there’s the blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen, perfect for those Instagram-worthy shots. From storytellers in Djemaa el-Fna to Berber families in remote mountain villages, each interaction is a chance to see the world through new eyes. So why settle for ordinary when your bank holiday can be extraordinary? Morocco’s calling, and adventure is on the menu!
