• Aurora Cabins – The Aurora Cabins are a magical way to experience the wintry star-filled sky and the Northern Lights, while lying comfortably in your warm bed. The igloo – like room has a heated glass-roof for perfect views of the northern sky, directly above the bed. These cabins can sleep up to 4 people, so are ideal for families.
  
• Aurora suites – Similar in design to the Aurora cabins with a great view of the northern lights through the glass roof above your bed, these suites are large enough for 5 and also have their own private sauna for that added bit of luxury.
  
• Sky View Cabins – These luxury detached cabins appear like sugar cubes in the snowy landscape. They have glass roofs for aurora viewing as well as two glass walls for wonderful views of the landscape, and are luxuriously furnished in stylish white. You can also get the premium sky view cabin with an extra room, or even better the deluxe which comes with its own hot tub for a true bucket list experience.

We like to be transparent about our holidays, so with that in mind, here is some information you’d need to consider when booking your getaway!

How to get to Levi – Getting to Levi is easier than you might think. Direct flights are available from London Gatwick to Kittilä Airport with EasyJet, taking around 3 hours and 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can fly with Finnair from London Heathrow via Helsinki. All our holidays include transfers from Kittilä Airport to your resort, with a comfortable 35-minute drive to either Northern Lights Village or Northern Lights Ranch. Depending on your package, you’ll enjoy either a shared minibus or private transfer. With these convenient options, your Lapland adventure begins almost as soon as you land.

How long should you stay in Levi – The ideal length of stay in Levi depends on your preferences, but most visitors find 3 to 5 nights to be perfect. This duration allows you to immerse yourself in the breathtaking Arctic landscape and experience a range of exciting activities. You’ll have time to enjoy thrilling husky sled rides, exhilarating snowmobile adventures, and most importantly, maximise your chances of witnessing the mesmerising Northern Lights. This timeframe offers a balance between experiencing the essence of Lapland and leaving you eager to return for more.

Things to do in Levi

There is so much you can do in Levi. You could spend every second there doing something new and exciting (though we recommend a bit of relaxing!). Here are some of our favourite Levi activities:

• Husky sledding – Meet the adorable working huskies that pull sleds along the snowy landscape. You can even hop on the sled and ride along the snow with them.
  
• Reindeer farm visit and sleigh rides – Visit the reindeer farm and meet the animals that have inspired so many Christmas tales. • A visit with Santa Clause – One of the most popular activities in all of Lapland, meet Santa in Levi. You’ll venture through the Secret Forest where you’ll find Santa’s hut (Don’t forget your letter for Santa! Hand it into reception so your experience can be even more personal – though be sure to be discreet so your kids don’t see.)
  
• Snowshoeing & Skiing – Wizz around Rovaniemi in your snowshoes or on one of the several ski lifts and runs (though this needs to be booked separately).
• Ice fishing – Your expert guide will show you how to cut a hole in the ice and fish in the traditional Sami way.
• Aurora hunting – No trip to Lapland is complete without a bit of Aurora hunting. There are plenty of ways to do this (vehicle, snowshoe, snowmobile). You’ll be led by a guide who knows all the best spots for viewing. There is often a tent and warm drink provided.
