Husky Safari

After breakfast, prepare for an unforgettable husky safari. Visit a local husky farm, meet the enthusiastic sled dogs, and learn the basics of mushing before setting off on a 10 km journey through the snowy wilderness. The sleds are for two people, one will mush and the other will sit in the sleigh covered by blankets to keep cosy and warm, half way round you can swap over if you wish. Feel the thrill as you guide your own team of huskies through the breath taking Arctic landscape, and afterwards meet the dogs and give them a rewarding tummy rub!  You do have the option here to swap the Husky Ride for a Snowmobile safari (available at checkout).

The afternoon is free for you to explore more of the winter wonderland. You may choose to try tobogganing or fat tyre biking.  Alternatively, relax at the resort and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere before dinner is served.

Reindeer Farm Visit & Sleigh Ride

Begin your day with breakfast before heading to a traditional reindeer farm. Here, you will learn about the deep connection between the Sámi people and their reindeer, followed by a peaceful sleigh ride through the snow-covered forest. Afterward, enjoy a warming soup lunch while listening to stories of reindeer herding culture.

If you have booked the Santa Experience, this is when you will have a magical meeting with Santa himself. He will share tales of Finnish Christmas traditions, answer any questions, and even take a look at your Christmas list, creating a memory to treasure forever.

The afternoon is free for additional activities. You could embark on a husky safari, gliding through the snowy landscapes with an enthusiastic team of sled dogs, or opt for a fat bike ride through the stunning scenery. As evening falls, enjoy another delightful dinner at the resort.
