Welcome to Lapland!

Located on the outskirts of Rovaniemi where the city ends and the outback begins is where your adventure begins, between two remote lakes at the edge of unspoilt wilderness.

Meet your driver at the airport and after 10-15 minutes drive, we will arrive to the stunning resort. Check in to your accommodation and spend some time to enjoying the views and the glittering white landscape before dinner.

Meals are served in the comfortable and stylish restaurant which offers a delicious buffet  selection of Nordic cuisine with a modern twist and uses locally produced ingredients.

After a dinner, and perhaps a relaxing drink, retreat to your cosy accommodation for a good nights sleep under the stars!

Reindeer sleigh ride across the night

This evening  you will journey through the magical, snow-covered forest with the arctic night sky lit by millions of stars.

Before your reindeer journey you have free time to explore, relax or embark on a different activity. There are lots of optional activities to choose from such as husky sleigh, horse sleigh, snowmobiling, snow shoeing or Ice fishing. Or you could take a trip into Rovaniemi.

If you’d prefer to chill out, in the traditional Finnish way why not try a lakeside sauna & arctic bath!

After dinner you will set off with your guide in search of the northern lights by reindeer sleigh.

Just as our ancestors once did, you’ll be travelling on a reindeer sleigh through untouched wilderness. As you see the glow of the bonfire from a remote lavvu, you’ll know it’s time to stop for a hot drink over some fascinating stories from the reindeer herders. If you are lucky, perhaps the Northern Lights will escort you on your way through the magical plains of Lapland.

Snowshoe walk to the Arctic Nature & Carriage Sauna

Do you want to feel, see and breath the unspoiled nature and its fresh air? This trip is for you! Snowshoes allow you to enter the stunning silence and beauty of the snow-covered surroundings. Your guide will tell you stories and facts about flora and fauna of Arctic nature. You will hear about the traditional way of living and learn about how ingredients growing naturally in the wild are incorporated into their recipes. You will have the opportunity to take great photos and to absorb your surroundings without rushing. During the trip your guide will serve on a delicious hot drink.

Early Winter variation: Snowshoeing activity begins 17th Dec. For travel in 1st – 16th December this activity will be Ice Fishing.  Picture this: sitting on a reindeer skin, watching your guide drill a hole in the ice. Enjoy a warm drink by the fire, waiting for a fish to bite. Surrounded by Arctic beauty, with luck, your guide can cook your catch on the spot.

Tonight you will have the luxury of your very own private sauna carriage delivered to your doorstep! When you hear a knock on your door, you’ll know the sauna is ready for you – you can grab the bouquet of birch branches, a traditional “saunavihta”, and step into the gentle warmth of this unique wood-heated sauna, just for you.
