A full example itinerary is detailed below, activity timings can differ slightly, your own personal schedule will be given to you upon check in.

Arrival Day

Your adventure begins when your private transfer meets you at Rovaniemi Airport to take you directly to your Lapland accommodation. Arrive at your Panorama Hut or Riverside Apartment, unpack and settle in to your surroundings.

Depending on how early you arrive, take some time to explore the site and the snowy forest, or simply relax and refresh after your journey before your evening meal at the site restaurant.

Husky Safari and Night Time Reindeer Ride

On your first full day in the arctic wilderness, wake up to views of the still, snow-covered forest and fuel yourself up for your first adventure with a hearty breakfast at the restaurant.

Then, meet your guide for an unforgettable journey through this beautiful landscape of frozen rivers and vast fells behind a team of endlessly energetic huskies.

The locals in this region have been using dog sleds as a means of transport for millennia, so not only is this an opportunity to meet some incredibly cute huskies and explore the area, but it also gives you a taste of some authentic Lappish culture.

In the evening, head out into the pristine countryside on reindeer-drawn sleigh, as you glide through a forest illuminated by the glow of the moon, stars and, with any luck, the Northern Lights.

Snowmobile Adventure

On your next day in Lapland, get a good breakfast in to fuel yourself up for a thrilling day exploring the wilderness by snowmobile.

Enjoy the thrill of speeding across snow covered fells and crashing through snow drifts as you follow your expert guide off the beaten track and into the heart of aurora country.

After a few breaks for a hot drink and for a chance to snap some pictures, head back to the resort for an afternoon of relaxation and another night of watching for the Northern Lights.

Aurora Hunting and Sauna Experience

Enjoy a lie in at the resort and a leisurely morning of exploring the local area, before a final afternoon of relaxation as you settle into a private sauna experience. If you spend any amount of time in Finland, you will also find this beautiful way to unwind is also an essential part of any Finnish person’s life.

In the evening, set off into the wilderness on an aurora hunting photo tour with an expert guide who will give you the very best chance of spotting the Northern Lights and capturing them effectively.

Departure Day
