Our Host: Martin

Martin has been taking photographs since he was 14 years of age. He used rolls of film at first then progressed onto shooting and developing his own slides, following a photography college course, he was hooked for life!

In 1992, Martin began to explore the new territory of digital photography and has been continually expanding his knowledge ever since. He has sold several hundred photographs over the years and has been honoured to photograph many couples’ weddings as well as being commissioned for commercial and promotional work.

Martin is joined by fellow photographer Tom, who has a career spanning 30 years working as a photographer on Scotland’s top newspaper titles. Covering everything from day to day diary jobs to breaking major news stories, no two days were ever the same, which is why he loves being a photographer. In addition to his newspaper work, he is also passionate about wedding photography and being able to work with people.

Both love sharing their secrets, styles and techniques and looks forward to having you on their photography holidays.
