What you'll do

Rome is famous for its silky tiramisu, refreshing gelato and bold espresso. Discover the most important, the most famous, and most importantly, the very best places - the local hangouts.

Your guide will meet you in the atmosphere, beautiful Piazza della Minerva, before taking you on a tour of Rome’s best spots for finding the perfect espresso, the most legendary gelato, and the best tiramisu in town.

You’ll learn the traditions and the local way to order a coffee at an authentic torrefazione, as well as how to really become a connoisseur of your espresso and drink just like the local Romans.

Then, your guide will take you to stop in at one of the city’s most well-renowned gelaterias for a tasting of different gelato. There is no other country that does this indulgent treat quite like the Italians.

Finally, you’ll visit the most famous pastry shop in all of Rome, for the classic Italian dessert – tiramisu. You won’t get tiramisu as good, or as authentic, anywhere else in the world.

Throughout the tour your local guide will tell you about the history and the culture of this fascinating, ancient district. They will show you the customs and traditions that have shaped the way Romans have lived for thousands of years, and explain exactly why Rome is like it is today so that you can experience the city like a local.
