Arctic holidays are one of the most unique and exciting holidays you can go on. We’ve been on the beach holidays and the stay-cations, but have you ever floated across blankets of snow as the Northern Lights danced above your head? Have you ever seen the earth spit a huge shower of water through its volcanic surface? Maybe you’ve bathed in the warm volcanic waters of the blue lagoon while surrounded by ice and snow? If you’ve already done these things then perhaps you already understand how incredible an Arctic holidays can be, but if not, then you’re probably ready for a new kind of adventure.
At Not in the Guidebooks we specialise in experiential holidays, and our Arctic holidays are certainly that. We work with local hosts in our Arctic destinations to offer authentic experiences that not only provide you with incredible adventures but also offer a more sustainable approach to travel. Tourism leakage means that on the average holiday about 78% of the money you spend goes into the pockets of giant multinational corporations, but with us you’re using local hosts, local accommodations and local services wherever possible, meaning we provide more responsible travel alternatives.
