Exploring the Beauty of Nature

After a delicious breakfast at the inn, pull on your walking boots and get ready for a day in the surrounding hills of the Berwyn range.

Your walking guide and mindfulness coach will lead you along quiet country lanes, up rambling wooded paths and across open hillsides. The Berwyn range is a truly wild and beautiful area of North East Wales, rich with wildlife.

Look out for Red Kites flying overhead as you hike along the valley. With a keen eye, you may even spot a leggy hare as it speeds away for cover amongst the dense ferns that fringe the grazing pastures.

The hedgerows are filled with wild edible foods throughout the changing seasons and, as you criss cross the river on your walk, enjoy the peaceful babbling soundtrack it provides.

You’ll find a quiet place to sit for lunch, enjoying al fresco dining surrounded by nature.

Experience the feeling of escapism from the modern world as you explore this remote and beautiful region. As you walk, you’ll learn to let go of the distractions that occupy your mind in daily life.

Focusing on one meaningful moment at a time, you’ll learn how to be truly present, using each of your senses to immerse yourself into this new and peaceful world.

Discover a sense of reconnection with nature and with yourself that will stay with you long after this weekend.

How better to relax after an invigorating hike in the fresh air, than to relax in front of an open fire with a local tipple in hand. Feel the warm glow in your cheeks as you chat with new friends and share stories from your day.

Little is more satisfying, or more tiring, than a day spent in the great outdoors and you’ll have earned your rest this evening.

Enjoy a free evening to dine when you’re ready, whether you choose to stay at the inn or venture over the way to the village’s second popular pub.
